Enchantile Update Includes New Matchmaker Feature

The developer of Enchantile has released version 1.3, which has the typical bug fixes, but also some user interface updates and improvements.  Setting this update apart and making it a major update is a new feature and an improvement to the game experience that we have been wanting since release.

There is now a “Your Turn” badge which indicates when it’s your turn to play.  Seems like a simple thing, but it’s a feature that was glaringly missing from previous releases, since launch and something that really improves all players ability to quickly recognize that the ball is in their court and will really speed up most games.

The biggest new feature is the launch of the Matchmaker, which pairs you with more appropriate opponents.  Previously your opponent was picked at random, regardless of the gap in skill level (on either side).  Now opponents are chosen who closer match the skill level range you play in, so that games are more fun for both parties.  To us, this is a big win.

We look forward to more new updates and features from the Enchantile team (Not too many though!  We still love the simple and uncluttered interface that makes Enchantile our favorite Scrabble/Words With Friends game in the app store currently.)
